\n Sameer Nigam founded PhonePe in 2015 and serves as its\n Chief Executive Officer. Before PhonePe, he served as\n the SVP Engineering and VP Marketing at Flipkart. His\n Flipkart journey started in 2011 when the company\n acquired his earlier startup - Mime360, a digital media\n distribution platform. Sameer has also served as the\n Director of Product Management at Shopzilla Inc, where\n he built the company's proprietary shopping search\n engine. In 2009, he won the coveted Wharton Venture\n Award, bestowed by the prestigious Wharton Business\n School. He holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School\n (University of Pennsylvania), USA, and a Master’s degree\n in Computer Science from the University of Arizona,\n Tucson-USA.\n

\n Rahul Chari\n

\n Rahul Chari is the Chief Technology officer at PhonePe.\n He comes with two decades of experience spanning\n embedded systems, enterprise software development,\n e-commerce platforms and apps. Prior to PhonePe he was\n working as the VP Engineering at Flipkart and was\n responsible for building the best-in-class supply chain\n system for e-commerce. He joined Flipkart in 2011\n through the acquisition of Mallers Inc where he served\n as the Chief Technology Officer and built Mime360, their\n flagship product. Prior to Mallers, Rahul was with the\n Data Center Business Unit at Cisco Systems where he was\n part of the team that developed the market changing MDS\n 9000 family of SAN switches. He is named on multiple\n storage virtualization related patents. Rahul holds a\n Masters degree in Computer Science from Purdue\n University, USA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer\n Engineering from Bombay (Mumbai) University, India (Gold\n Medalist).\n

\n Burzin Engineer\n

\n Burzin is the Chief Reliability Officer at PhonePe. He\n has more than 25 years of experience in the dot-com\n space. During his stint at PhonePe, he has built web\n scale infrastructure and led multiple engineering\n projects including running and building PhonePe's web\n serving layer, cloud systems, network, storage and CDN.\n He’s passionate about building software at scale.\n Previously, he helped build Mime360, the flagship\n product at Mallers Inc. He set up their web services,\n Internal-IT, Application Engineering, Storage Networks\n and Configuration Services. While at Mallers Inc, he\n helped redesign the company’s infrastructure for\n unprecedented growth (100% year over). He holds a Master\n of Science in Computer Science from the University of\n Southern California.\n
